Ponderosa Stomp photo gallery

I've just got back from a fantastic US trip, taking in the Ponderosa Stomp in New Orleans, the King Biscuit festival in Helena and much more besides. The music has been brilliant throughout.
I will be putting on some photos in the next few days and first here's a gallery of pictures from the Ponderosa Stomp at the Rock 'n' Bowl.
Day One began with soul man Richard Caiton.
A superb soul singer, here is Charles Brimmer.
The man who makes it all happen, Dr Ike aka Ira Padnos. What a great job he did.
This is the unique Swamp Dogg, aka Jerry Williams Jr.
Soul singer Baby Washington.
Another great female soul singer, Maxine Brown.
The backing group included keyboardist Armand St Martin.
Motown singing star Chris Clark.
Louisiana soul man James Alexander.
Zydeco artist Lynn August.
On to day two now, and here's David Battiste.
One of the true soul greats, here is Spencer Wiggins.
The group backing Spencer included Scott Bomar and Irving Bannister.
A legend returns - Kent Harris aka Boogaloo.
New Orleans sixties band the Gaunga Dins.
Still rocking after all these years, here's Charlie Gracie.
Surprise hit of the night was Chris Montez.
Joining him on stage was Cyril Jordan of the Flamin' Groovies.
Here are garage band the Standells, who hit with Dirty Water in the sixties.
This is the lead singer of the Sloths, another garage band.
Final act of day two was rockabilly singer Eddie Daniels.
The entertainment included some of the bar staff showing off their hula hoop skills.
