Nashville photos - part 1

Here is the first batch of photos from our recent US trip, beginning with some from our first couple of days in Nashville, the centre piece being the AmericanaFest. Here's one of Jim Lauderdale who we saw several times during our trip - at Basement East and 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville and later at the Bristol Rhythm and Roots Festival.
Providing backing for many of the acts at Basement East was keyboardist Paul Brown.
While in Memphis we visited the Johnny Cash Museum.
Here's one of the four of us at the museum: L-R Lee Wilkinson, Dave Carroll, Alan Lloyd, Nick Cobban.
The central music area of Nashville is Broadway, where Ernest Tubb's record shop has been located for many years. Lee and Dave are outside.
Her is Lizzie No, who sang and played both harp (the real one) and guitar.
One of the few soul acts at Americana was Bette Smith, who I very much enjoyed.
Here's one of me with Bette.
Saturday afternoon featured a great array of artists at Roberts Western Wear Bar in Broadway. This is Dale Watson, with Celine Lea.
Another star that afternoon was Carlene Carter - member of a famous country family.
Here is Rosie Flores with James Intveld.
One of the best acts of the entire festival was the Mavericks. Here's a photo of the group plus one of lead singer Raul Malo.
Another act that day was rockabilly singer Chuck Mead.
Possible the biggest impact by a relative unknown was that made by Yola from Bristol (the one in England).
Here is the recently opened Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in central Nashville.
